spring time feels

Since have entered spring, I feel like my style has taken a slight shift from my usual monochrome looks and have been gravitating more towards the color white and knits. Maybe it is the new haircut or the warmer weather (or that american apparel closeout that made me buy all the knits ;) ). Here is a compilation of some spring trends that have caught my eye this season.

Lace up espadrilles 

Originated from Spain, it makes the perfect spring (or summer) time shoe to take a long walk along the beach or a stroll through your local farmers market. It gives off a very care free vibe and since it is commonly made out of straw and linen, it is environmentally friendly!

Straw purses

Ive have been on the constant hunt for the perfect straw purse. I do not know why I have ever thought straw purses were tacky but lately I feel like they would be looking ever so effortlessly chic when paired with a floral romper or a light summer dress. I found this bag on Etsy handmade from Bali. 

White Fisherman Knits

 

This has been a real favorite of mine as a night time cover up when I am out and about to keep me warm while still looking cute. The American apparel Fisherman cropped knit has been a staple of mine for my closet along with other variations of their knits which includes the Aslan sweater, Fisherman pullover sweater and the Original Fisherman sweater. Sucks to see American Apparel no longer making their clothes in the United States but they shall be missed.

Sundresses and Rompers

I know sundresses and rompers are nothing new for spring but I havent jumped onto the bandwagon until now. They have always looked a bit too girly for my taste but this season I feel a bit more daring compared to my usual skirt and crop top combo. I have received plenty of complements wearing this specific romper every time I go out. This is from the brand Staring at Stars.
